Are you a fan of the McDonald’s BIG MAC?
Ever wondered how to make your very own McDonald’s BIG Mac Sauce?
Then wonder no longer. We have the McDonald’s BIG MAC Sauce Recipe for you AND it tastes just like the real thing. McDonald’s lists the ingredients of their famous BIG MAC Sauce as:
Soybean Oil, Pickle Relish (Diced Pickles, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Sugar, Vinegar, Corn Syrup, Salt, Calcium Chloride, Xanthan Gum, Potassium Sorbate (Preservative), Spice Extractives, Polysorbate 80), Distilled Vinegar, Water, Egg Yolks, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Onion Powder, Mustard Seed, Salt, Spices, Propylene Glycol Alginate, Sodium Benzoate (Preservative), Mustard Bran, Sugar, Garlic Powder, Vegetable Protein (Hydrolyzed Corn, Soy and Wheat), Caramel Color, Extractives of Paprika, Soy Lecithin, Turmeric (Color), Calcium Disodium EDTA (Protect Flavor)
It’s essentially a thousand island dressing, but with a bit more sweet pickle than the original French dressing. Add vinegar and sugar to this, and you are well on your way to making a Big Mac clone. And you are actually able to buy the below ingredients, unlike the list of ingredients McDonald’s quote as being used…
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons French dressing
4 teaspoons sweet pickle relish
1 tablespoon finely minced white onion
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
How to make:
1. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl
2. Stir well
3. Place sauce in a container and refrigerate for several hours, preferably overnight
4. Stir the sauce a couple of times as it chills
Makes about 3/4 cup.
McDonald’s recently released 500ml bottles of their famous sauce for sale for a limited time only. Naturally, their limited time referred to only 4,000 bottles being sold all around Australia, which sold out within 15 minutes. Some even ended up on eBay and Gumtree, listed for more than $100 a bottle. WOW! Read the full article here.
