Steeped in heritage and smack bang in the middle of the bustling Sydney CBD, the stylish five-star Radisson Blu Hotel Sydney is a pillar of modern and contemporary comfort and style.
After our friendly check in we eagerly made our way to a newly refurbished King Room. The room was absolutely delightful. Perfectly chic and mixed with modern comfort. Too often you feel cramped in hotel rooms, but the Radisson Blu’s high ceiling’s really gave the room a nice open feeling.
The decor was very stylish and appealing to the eye. Everything was perfectly neat and tidy. The towels, robes and amenities were quality, all of a very high standard (and very comfy). I particularly liked that the bath was made you feel you were in your own little space and that all the power points had USB charging ports. Genius!
Amongst all this, our room also featured a huge flat screen TV with over 35 channels, including Free-To-Air, Foxtel, sport, radio and movie channels, coffee and a tea station, free wifi and a fully stocked mini bar.
If you’re looking for the perfect distraction from the city’s busy streets, or just to relax and take a break with some delicious fare, The Raddison’s High Tea is perfect. Sitting in their plush lounge chairs, we were blown away by the delightful array of sweet and savoury finger foods. Cucumber sandwiches, curry puffs, classic scones and traditional Aussie treats like meat pies and lamingtons filled each level of our packed food tower. All served with a pot of Twinings Tea and a glass of bubbles.
All in all we had a wonderful experience at the Radisson Blu. A hotel who’s earned it’s reputation as one of the best in Sydney, it would be an absolute privilege to stay. With it’s optimal location and 5 star service, I would definitely recommend it for anyone wanting a top notch accommodation and dining experience.
