Who doesn’t love Mr Whippy soft serve? Well how about soft serve made by dessert legend Andy Bowdy. OMG!
To kick off Sydney Morning Herald’s GOOD FOOD MONTH programme launch, Andrew Bowden, commander-in-chief of Andy Bowdy Pastry was dishing out free soft serves at Central Park today from his very own ice cream van.
Ginger bread crumbs, spiced pumpkin pie and bourbon caramel sauce atop a creamy vanilla soft serve to be exact. True to form, these scrumptious toppings were reflective of the sinfully amazing desserts that are synonymous with Andrew Bowden. The standout was the bourbon caramel that had a smooth creamy texture and an intense depth of flavour.
Our taste buds are eagerly awaiting the foodie delights that await us from 1-31st October 2015 for the Sydney Morning Heralds Good Food Month.
