Eating at the Beach Club, Watsons Bay Hotel

Beach Club, Watsons Bay Hotel

What better way to start the day than with cocktails? Both of these were super refreshing with fruity flavours bursting in you mouth.

Smashed Avo $19

Who doesn’t love an avo smash? The fresh creamy flavours with a beautifully soft piece of sourdough. Absolutely delicious. Although I do feel that $19 for the one piece is a tad too steep.

Miso Glazed Salmon $29.5

A really lovely dish full of delicious Asian flavours. The samlon was firm and flaky but lovely and soft in the mouth. The sweet sticky glaze gave it a beautiful flavour. The okonomiyaki pancake was a great savoury bite, made with a great mix of veggies and topped with fresh herbs, smokey bonito flakes and pickled ginger for a little bit of kick.

Mini Lobster Rolls $30

These cute little brioche rolls were packed full of tasty lobster meat and mixed with a creamy mayo. The crisp lettuces brought a fresh crunch, while the scattering of sliced jalepenos gave a nice spicy punch. What really made my mouth water was the fried pickles that come with the rolls. Hot and juicy, these had an amazingly crunchy coating.

Cheese Board $24

Being winter and all we decided to take our dessert in the Sunset Room and were lucky enough to score a little table right by the fire. It was such a lovely experience eating this delicious selection of cheeses with truffle honey and lattes next to a warm and comforting fire.
