Antipasto Sampler Board
Feast your eyes on this! Complete with mamma’s meatballs, zucchini flowers, braciole di riso, scallops sasa, calamari fritter & baked mushrooms served with Italian bread Crinitis really has stepped it up.
The heartwarming meatballs were absolutely amazing in holding in all that juicy rich flavour. I couldn’t get enough of the calamari fritter, it was perfectly fried with such a light and thin batter. Braciole di riso could be described as rice croquettes holding in a creamy batter of rice.
Maccheroni 3 carni
Delicious veal ragu with flavour packed italian sausages and hearty mamma criniti’s famous meatballs.
Succulent chicken, creamy mushrooms, avocado, juicy cherry tomatoes and cream topped off with parmigiano to kick this up a notch.
A great vegetarian dish served with eggplant, ricotta, basil, oregano and sugo di pomodoro.
This dish was my favourite with the oh-so-creamy porcini mushrooms, truffle oil and parmigiano. It was great to see that there wasn’t the off-putting pool of oil at the bottom after we had finished
Packed with prawns, pancetta, basil, garlic, chilli for a lil bit of heat and juicy cherry tomato sugo, this was also another star of the day.
Organic salt bush lamb skewers with salmoriglio marinade. Each individual piece of lamb was soft and aromatic, packed full of flavour.
The juicy chicken didn’t fall any short in flavour with lemon, basil and pesto marinade.
Generous cuts of seafood ranging from prawns, scallops, calamari to octopus skewers with lemon and Italian herb marinade.
Criniti’s profiteroles filled with chantilly cream, rolled in decadent milk chocolate fudge and covered in dark chocolate shavings.
It was a great relief to see that dessert wasn’t overly sweet but light and fluffy – a perfect way to end the meal.
