The Oaks in Neutral Bay is hosting ‘A Taste of the Barossa’ with St Hallett wine, giving you the perfect excuse for a long lunch or a boozy evening. They have crafted a special menu to showcase the finest wine, accompanied with their scrumptious food.
Whether you fancy white or red, there’s wine flights to suit your taste buds.
We enjoyed a lovely evening tasting a wide variety of St Hallett wines introduced to us by the senior winemaker himself, Stuart Blackwell (pictured).
Starting off with the sparkling shiraz, it was definitely my favourite and highly recommended to be matched with a delicious duck dish.
Although the wines were the feature of the night, how could you ignore the delectable food of The Oaks.
Oaks Butcher Board
If you’re looking for something light to accompany your wine, then this assortment is perfect. Great variety of flavours with a selection of cold meats, pickles, sundried tomatoes and char grilled bread of course.
Roasted Pork Belly and Garlic Prawn Pizza
Pizza and wine is a classic but the gourmet roasted pork belly and garlic prawn pizzas stepped it up a notch. Both rich in flavour and definitely enjoyed with a glass of red.
If you’re a wine enthusiast, don’t miss this experience and book in for a blending session or tasting now!
