I was gonna clean my room until I got high,
I was gonna get up and find the broom but then I got high,
my room is still messed up and I know why (why man?) yea heeeeeyy,
cause I got high, cause I got high, cause I got high…..La da da da da da da da da
The Queenies 420 Stoner Dinner was upon us and what a night it was. Sitting with some choice fellow bloggers and organised by the amazing sisters from Eating Up With The Hannashians we waited with enthused antisipation for the munchable delights to come.
Buffalo Tater Tots
Little potato gems to start the quench of hunger, these bad boys were smothered in Franks Hot Sauce, roasted peanuts, sour cream and celery leaves.
Pay-Day Taco Bell
Another great starter made with fresh lobster, jerk mayo, chilli salsa and Pringles, yes that’s right Pringles. Topped off with a sheet of edible gold leaf and all resting on a house made green soft taco.
Double Donut Burger
Stoners check this out! This veritable heart attack had everyone’s jaws drop. Every part working awesomely together from the crispy and tender fried buttermilk chicken layered with melted american cheese to the sweet soft glazed donut encasing it all.
Called garbage but far from it. This mountain was made up of tender beef short rib, chilli beef, smoked beans, grilled sausage, onion rings, ezy cheese potato fries and my favourite a mac and cheese jaffle. Totally awsome duuuuude!
Twinkie Ice Cream-Weiner Sandwich
A spectacular dessert, this sweet hotdog was made with a twinkie as the bun, salted caramel ice cream as the sausage and raspberry and passion fruit sauce on top.
Check out the Queenies website for when the 420 Stoner Dinner is next on. For only $55 a head for that much food, you can imagine that getting in early is pretty critical.
