Holiday catch-ups mean long lazy brunches with family and friends, and there’s no better place I like to do that than at my local eatery. All Good Things Eatery to be exact!

Summer Breakfast Plate $24
A beautifully simple dish. This oh-so-European breaky plate has poached eggs, San Daniele proscuttio, avocado, feta, tomato and olives. Finished with a slice of rustic toast to make this (like its name suggests) a great summer dish.
Avocado on Toast $12 with Poached Eggs rolled in Sumac and Sesame +$5
An old favourite, the avocado was ripe and creamy. I added a pair of poached eggs rolled in sumac and sesame, with a side of haloumi to add a bit of heartiness to the dish. I wasn’t disappointed.
Our Croque Madame Aphrodite $17
Eeerrrmagawwwd this was so damn good. House made apaki (vinegar cured & smoked pork neck), San Daniele proscuttio, aged cheddar and kaseri bechamel are all layered together between bread and finally crowned with a gorgeous fried egg. I can’t begin to tell you how mouth-wateringly good this was. You’ll have to try it for yourself.
Chia Seed Pudding $14
A much healthier option than the artery clogger above, this ‘super-food’ pudding is fresh and light with a tropical flavour. After being soaked in coconut milk the chia seeds become soft and gelatinous, giving them the texture of rice pudding or tapioca. A very refreshing dish and a guilt free one for those of you who splurged too much over the holidays.
What could be better than a fresh squeezed icy juice on a hot summers day?
