Sitting outside soaking up the sun we started off with freshly made fruit smoothie’s. Uber refreshing!
Avocado Sourdough ($18.50)
Avocado on toast seems a standard on all breakfast menus. In this case, half an avocado sat on top a slice of sourdough bread. The egg was soft and well poached and the Persian feta added a salty element complimenting the avocado. The rocket, tomato and lemon oil salad sat off to the side however seemed to be forgotten.
Trio Corn Fritters $20
The trio of mini corn fritters was interesting. Each having their own little topping from a poached egg with rocket, another with salmon and the last with roasted tomatoes.
Spanish baked eggs ($17) tomato confit, capsicum, oregano & white toast
I love baked eggs. Theres something really wholesome and comforting about them. So when I saw them on the menu i knew exactly what choice to make. I was unable to resist adding chorizo for an extra $2.50 and black pudding for an extra $5 for this dish. This was the highlight of my Sunday.
