Rooftop Dining Westfield Hurstville
With Summer literally in the swing of things it’s always a huge plus to find a new dining gem, especially if that gem brings you the best of hip and fun alfresco dining.
Of all the fantastic new developments at Westfield Hurstville you could easily say the highlight is the Rooftop, a new alfresco precinct, housing five fantastic dining pavilions, offering a carefree enjoyable atmosphere that really comes to life at night with local musicians and other entertainment.
Conveniently located right next to the newly refurbished Events Cinema, the Rooftop boasts a great range of international and local cuisine. Indulge yourself in sensational fare from mouth watering burgers from Burger Co by Kingston, decadent desserts from Oliver Brown and delicious brunch from The Shed. On top of that The Hellenic is bringing a little Greek in a big way, while Lilong by Taste of Shanghai joins the new Chef’s Gallery and Sushi Zenko (both situated inside the centre) for a little Asian flare.
The Rooftop space itself is wide and spacious boasting a light atmosphere, with fresh greenery balancing the chic industrial finishes, making it the perfect place for locals and visitors alike to sit back and relax after (or before) a big day of shopping.
Speaking with some of the owners myself and trying all their wonderful food offerings, I wasn’t at all surprised to find the Rooftop itself had become a dining destination in itself, with patrons not coming to the centre to shop, but to eat! Something like this really sets itself apart from just being part of a shopping centre and is a real testament to Westfield Hurstville’s vision for their patrons. They even have a herb garden available to both kitchen staff and people to harvest nourishing and sustainable produce, on top of making a super family friendly location.
So with all that in mind and with months of tantalising sunshine ahead of us, check out this amazing new offering to Sydney’s ever expanding food network. Whether you’re near or far, Westfield Hurstville has something for everyone.
