Art of Dining – Where food, art and music collide!
Westfield Hornsby hosted their first ever food and wine festival. The Art of Dining event featured over 20 street food style pop-up stalls, food trucks, local foodie favourites from their very own dining precinct, artists and entertainment.
This enjoyable evening of food, wine and entertainment, partnering with the Hornsby Shire Council kicked-off the Festival of the Arts in Hornsby, celebrating the local community arts and dining culture and launching this annual event.
FOOD AND DRINK: Well-known local favourites included Shores, Rustic Plate and Olive Bar and Grill, plus international fare from House of Canton, Infuzions, Sofrito, and Fritz Weiner. Washed down with drinks from Top Juice and the Top Shelf Mobile Bar Service serving wine and craft beer.
MUSIC: Taking to the stage was Sydney’s best up-and-coming musicians including Thandi Phoenix, Cuzn, Marvell, La Vif and Lambrou Bros.
ARTS: Live arts and entertainment included a free jewellery workshop for the kids from Reverse Garbage, every day kitchen items came to life for a music performance by Gaia Rhythm and we learnt about food etiquette in a hilarious performance from Jetpack Theatre Collective.
The 2016 Festival of Arts is on from 21 October – 20 November featuring live performances, food and wine, creative workshops, films, markets and plenty of opportunities to get your culture fix. The Festival of the Arts is a smorgasbord of the best visual and performing arts.
