Hiding in a quaint little space on Spring Street in Bondi Junction, Calabur Cafe & Diner brings it’s modern trendy vibe to Sydney’s dining scene with delicious plates of food that look as beautiful as they taste.
We started the meal with these excellent beverages both cool and refreshing. The coffee was a beautiful aromatic Ethiopian blend that was smokey and robust. Enjoyed icy cold with a good splash of milk, this was divine! The Berry Smoothie was a fresh burst of fruity flavour that matched the bright sunny day.
Spaghetti Namtok Salmon
When I heard Sakura’s secret ingredient was Yakult (along with plum wine and orange juice) I was a little sceptical, but one sip in and I was hooked on this pro-biotic bevy. One more please!
Granola Fruit Market (V)
Seriously everything at this place is like an edible work of art! Look how beautiful this dish is.
And it’s as tasty as it looks! The crunchy granola enjoyed the company of fresh strawberries, blueberries and kiwis on a bed of creamy Greek yoghurt with a side of honey.
What an absolutely amazing little cafe. The food, the service, the decor, the vibe everything was absolutely amazing. Really quite perfect for brunch this place transforms into a hip bar serving some delish cocktails with their dinner menu.
Check it out now! We cant recommend this place enough.
