The Biggie Breakfast and The Veggie Burger
It was a lovely Sunday spent at Cafe Trreat. Located on Marrickville Road, in the bustling neighborhood of Dulwich Hill.
We started off with The Biggie Breakfast and The Veggie Burger. If your’re looking for something rustic and satisfying, I recommend The Biggie. It comes with two fried eggs on a thick slice of toast, served with sweet potato fries. My favourite is what comes underneath the eggs, delicious chorizo, bacon and marinated mushrooms cooked to perfection.
The Veggie Burger
If you’re after something healthy and tasty, look no further than The Veggie Burger. Deliciously grilled haloumi and lettuce, tomato, avocado and aioli encased in a soft brioche bun. Served with beer battered fries. Yum!
Trreat Shakes – Mangberry
And here comes the Trreat Shakes. We picked Mangberry and Snickerly, based purely on wanting something fruity and our love for Snickers.
The Mangberry is super fruity and refreshing, we really were in love with the mango and strawberry combination. Not overly sweet, Cafe Trreat calls this a shake but they recommend eating it with a spoon. They even have a tagline, “100% fruit, zero guilt.”
Trreat Shakes – Snickerly
Snickerly is definitely a crowd pleaser. The moment the friendly staff brought this beauty out, we were wowed by the decadent toppings served in an actual coconut. The pretzels, snickers, wafers, chocolate and whipped cream was the perfect combination. It was just divine! So good that we couldn’t stop raving about it for hours.
Cafe Trreat has a great selection to offer, and of course, sweet treats. A great brunch place for the locals and a funky cafe with traditional hearty food and delicious shakes that’ll keep you coming back for more.
