If you haven’t heard of XS Espresso by now you’ve either been living under a rock or don’t use social media. This place is off the charts and is fast becoming one of the hottest eateries in the Western Suburbs. If you have seen the pictures above and below and still have to ask why, I’m sorry I can’t help you.
The OTT milkshakes craze has hit Sydney hard, with people losing it over the delicious mountains of sweet delights balancing on top of rich frothy milkshakes. XS Espresso seem to have paved the way with their decadent versions. Not wanting to miss out on all the fun, we met up with the hungry ladies from Eating Up With The Hannashians for a sugar filled afternoon.
We sampled a few of these #ExtremeShakes including the Monster, Superstar and Volcano Shake. My favourite was the Volcano which houses an aptly named lava cake on top that oozez it’s hot fudge filling when it’s broken apart.

On top of all the sugar crazed delights, XS also serves some pretty decent savoury and lunch and breakfast items like this delicious grilled chicken salad. The fresh crispy crunch from the greens really brings a nice respite from the sugar overload.
The XS Chicken Burger is packed full of succulent grilled chicken, bacon, lettuce, tomato and house made peri-peri sauce on a soft brioche bun. Accompanied by a side of crunchy fries this monster burger is a favourite mouth watering belly filler for locals and visitors alike.
Back to the sweet stuff with this gorgeous plate of fluffy and golden maple soaked French Toast. Covered with fresh strawberrie, bananas and a generous dollop of cream. This sweet day starter is just as delicious as it’s Mega Shake counterparts.
It was also really great to see the range of fresh and healthy menu options available from XS like this refreshing Acai Bowl. Made with chopped fruit, granola and acai. This is the perfect starter to a energy filled day.
Are you sold yet? There is literally something for everyone!
