The Cupping Room is a concept cafe designed to take you on a flavour journey. Cupping is the process coffee roasters and growers use to judge coffees next to each other without bias. Designed by the team from Ona Coffee to share passion and knowledge about coffee with their customers. We’ve heard so much about this delicious experience we made it our first stop on our weekend getaway to Canberra.
Lamb Back Strap
The weekend roast was this amazing lamb back strap. The meal was really well seasoned and simply melted in your mouth. The side of cauliflower salad had a great fresh crunch intermixed with the pleasurable sweet burst from the pomegranate seeds. On top of this was a nice stack of golden crisp polenta chips with were heaven dipped in the provided jus.
Pork Burger $20
This monster burger was filled with twice cooked pork belly and Thai slaw then smothered in a spicy sriarcha aioli. All sandwiched in a soft brioche bun, the pork was absolutely mouth watering and the crunch from the slaw really gave it some textural contrast. Accompanied by fries we added two slabs of Crumbed Haloumi ($4 each) and weren’t disappointed.
