EAT GRK brings the best Greek food to the streets. They offer simple, authentic cooking methods combined with the freshest ingredients and have created an atmosphere where people would happily come back week after week.
We were treated to an amazing array of spoils starting with the EAT GRK Sampler ($20).
The loukaniko is soaked in wine for three days, the feta dip is as addictive as food should ever be permitted before becoming a restricted substance, and the pita – so soft.
The Classic Lamb Greek Pita Wrap Meal with Feta Chips ($12) came with chips inside the wrap as well!
Chicken Dancing Zorba with Haloumi Chips (and secret EAT GRK sauce) ($12) was jam packed with mouth watering flavour, with the chicken being supremely moist.
The haloumi chips were very different and definitely worth a taste – apparently people go in there just for them.
By this time, we probably should’ve stopped eating, but dessert in the form of Nutella Pita ($4) and Loukoumades ($6) were calling out to us, and boy, are we glad we had them. Especially, the loukoumades; they’re handmade in house – like many of the other foods on the menu.
Thought has gone into everything at EAT GRK; the look and feel of the environment has been taken into account as well. They didn’t want something that was stereotypically Greek, wanting to be enjoyed by everyone.
Oh, they also have a pretty enticing takeaway menu, and we’ve already decided to order a Mega Box ($98) for the next party we host – the heck with Pizza Hut.
I’m still stuffed 5 hours after this feast – the food was so good, I couldn’t stop eating, and even then I’ve only managed to try a small portion of the flavours. So, if you’re looking for any specific flavour EAT GRK has got you covered. I will definitely be coming back with a group of friends soon!
