And just like that, Cow and The Moon took out the Gelato World Tour title in Rimini, Italy.
This family-run gelato store in Enmore won for its Mandorla affogato flavour gelato, a re-creation of the classic affogato. This winning gelato combines caramelised almonds sourced from Italy with single origin coffee on a Madagascan vanilla bean base.

Cow and The Moon’s gelato is smooth and creamy. Some of their flavours on offer include Rhubarb and Custard, Balsamic Strawberry, Hazelnut Roche, Pannacotta and Balsamic Vinegar, Cherry Mania and their Lime in the Coconut.
When owner John Crowl was asked about his winning combination, he explained: “it’s about trying to understand the flavour, working on the salt, sweet and sour. You have to marry the flavours so that they blend well together.”
A variety of cakes and other dessert options are also on offer.
When you only have time for the best. Seems like this place will be busy for awhile….
