img_8595[1]Steak Sandwich, Caramelised Onion Jam, Wilted Spinach and Roasted Tomatoes

A good ol’ favourite for lunch from Kepos Street Kitchen. A tender steak with a sexy onion jam, spinach (gotta have some greens) and a juicy roasted tomato, all brought together by two pieces of crunchy sourdough.

Cuttlefish Ink Risotto with Grilled Cuttlefish and Fresh Tomato Salsa

A very interesting dish. The rice was perfectly al dente and flavoured with the subtle fishy, salty flavour of the ink. The cuttlefish was tender and meaty, and the freshness of the tomato salsa brought it all together to make a really tasty dish.

Churros with Salted Caramel Sauce

I’m a glutton for churros. Soft on the inside, irresistibly crisp on the outside and generously coated in cinnamon sugar. Dip them in the devilishly rich and thick salted caramel sauce and enjoy it with a much needed coffee. Bliss…

Chef and owner Michael Rantissi, born in Tel Aviv, uses his Mediterranean background to deliver award winning dishes. Throw in a Middle Eastern twist, coffee from The Grounds of Alexandria, The Rabbit Hole artisan tea blends, Brasserie Bread and Brooklyn Bagel Boy bagels – how can you resist? The lines out the door prove it’s worth the wait.
