If we are ever in the mood for sushi or sashimi, we go to Sushi Suma. Always. It’s a no brainer.

Quick and easy. Cheap and filling. Fast and friendly. Sushi Suma is a small restaurant, seating about 40-50 people. There is a fast turnover and on a Friday or Saturday night there is always a line of hungry people waiting to get in. Our recommendation is to get there early or to make a reservation.

To begin, expect to receive complimentary dishes of vermicelli noodle salad and Agedashi tofu to whet your appetite and get you ready for more. Then prepare to feast on a wide range of the Japanese dishes we’ve come to know and love, from fresh sushi and sashimi, to the mountainous seaweed salad, to the more familiar teriyaki chicken.
